LAUNCH OF CROMWELL QUATERCENTENARY LEAFLET
Wednesday 2nd December 1998.

Lord David Renton, (left), former MP for Huntingdon, Anne Campbell,
(centre), current MP for Cambridge, (both places represented by
Oliver Cromwell in the 17th century), and Geoffrey Bush, (right),
descendant of Oliver Cromwell, helped to launch the national leaflet
for the 400th anniversary by the Cromwell statue at Westminster on
Wednesday 2nd December 1998.
The Quatercentenary year was launched with two receptions, at
Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire, and at Westminster. Local and national
politicians, representatives of heritage organisations, the tourist
trade and the press, joined with historians to mark the publication
of the national leaflet.
The leaflet, with a print run of 200,000, is being widely
distributed to Tourist Information Centres, museums and libraries.
It lists all of the major events of the year. Copies are available
from the Cromwell Museum, Grammar School Walk, Huntingdon,
Cambridgeshire, PE18 6LF. For details of how to obtain bulk
quantities for distribution for promotional or educational purposes
