Arthur James Melhuish was a commercial photographer active in London. He occupied a number of locations: in 1860 he had a studio at 9 Holborn Bars; in 1864-86 he was based at 12 York Place, Portman Square; in 1888-89 Melhuish was located at 12 Old Bond Street; in 1891-94 he was at 58 Pall Mall. In 1895 there was a company called Melhuish and Gale Ltd at 68 Pall Mall. In 1896 this company had moved to 58 Pall Mall (Pritchard 1994, p.87). | |||
