C.H. Moore was a commercial photographer active in Queensland circa 1868-1875. In 1868 he was operating from Kent Street, Maryborough. In the same year he was also active in Nashville. In 1869 he was active in Blackall (Davies and Stanbury 1985, p.202). In 1870 he was operating from Wharf Street, Maryborough. He went to Mount Perry in early 1871. He advertised in the 'Mount Perry Mail' in February 1872 that he would only be staying for one month, but he was still in Mount Perry at the end of the year. His studio in Mount Perry can be seen in RCS Y3085S. In 1871, according to Davies and Stanbury, he had a studio in Richmond Street, Maryborough and in Gayandah. In 1875 he was active in Kent Street, Maryborough. He then seems to have become a travelling photographer (Davies and Stanbury 1985, p.202). | |||
