| Taber is possibly Isaiah West Taber, born in 1830. Isaiah West Taber worked for Bradley and Rulofson, San Francisco, United States, 1864-1871. He opened his own studio in 1871. As well as working as a photographer, he also published the work of other photographers, sold photograph supplies and manufactured dry plates. In 1880 Taber visited the Sandwich Islands. His business lasted until 1905. Taber died in 1912 (Johnson 1990, p.609). | |||
