Events in Cambridge include:

• 16 February: Scott Mandelbrote will talk to the Friends of the Library on 'The Authorized Version and the pirates'. For more details see the Friends of the Library web pages.
• 27 February: a conference at Sidney Sussex College looking at the cultural influences of the King James Bible on music, literature and worship. For more information, visit http://www.sid.cam.ac.uk/visitors/kingjames/
• 9 May to 1 July: 'The King James Bible: a 400 year celebration', an exhibition in St John's College Library. Open to visitors 2.30-4.30 on Mondays and Tuesdays, other times by appointment; individuals or groups wishing to make an appointment should contact Kathryn McKee on 01223 339393 or e-mail library@joh.cam.ac.uk.
• 27 April: "Cambridge Celebrates 400 Years of the King James Version" conference organised by the Faculty of Divinity. Speakers : Prof Pauline Croft (Royal Holloway), Prof William Horbury (C'bridge), Dr Scott Mandelbrote (Cambridge), Prof Brian Cummings (Sussex), Prof Mark Noll (Notre Dame), and the Archbishop of Canterbury. Topics will include Cambridge involvement in the translation, the literary heritage of KJV, and the KJV in North America. The event will take place in Great St Mary's Church.
• 17 May: Clive Wilmer will talk to the Friends of the Library on 'The King James as literary inspiration: John Ruskin and the Bible'. For more details see the Friends of the Library web pages.
