The Pillar Panel Images
The three images on the panels around the Exhibition Centre pillar are from the Library’s MS Add. 8491, a decorated manuscript volume of poems titled ‘Vigils’ dating from 1934, the contents of which overlap with, but do not exactly replicate, the poems printed in Sassoon’s published books with that title.
