| J.F.S. Rosa was a commercial photographer active in British Guiana (now Guyana) in the 1890s. In the 1894 edition of the 'British Guiana directory and almanack', the studio of Burke, Gomez and Rosa is mentioned as being at the corner of Murray and Queen Streets, Georgetown (1894, p.298). In the same volume is an advert for 'Burke and Rosa, photo-artists; 14, Holmes or Murray St., Georgetown' (1894, p.xxxvii). Gomez is listed as 'Partner' (1894, p.77) | |||
