"Chunga", bamboo case for storing rice; kept in the house. It is a section of a large bamboo, a knot closing each end; through one a hole is made by which it is filled or emptied. The outside is covered with closely interwoven narrow strips of reed or cane forming a dark red pattern on a buff ground.
