Head-hunting basket made of broad strips of bamboo taken on raids to bring back heads. It can be closed with string to present theft by any other member of the party. The panjis it contains are set in the path to impede pursuit. This basket was thrown away by Saoching raiders when repulsed by Mongnyu (March 1921). Phom.
