caption: Ceremonial hair-cutting hammer of bamboo with a bean-like seed (?sworn-bean) on each of the seven pieces into which it is split. This is used on the dao for trimming a boy's hair after his first successful raid. It is then kept in the morung and not used again. Usually a bit of bamboo or a bamboo spoon is used to tap the hair on the dao to clip it. The instrument is wrapped in a leaf. Phom, Mongnyu village.
