A Pair of luck stones, anagha. The smaller, male is "alive", the larger female is dead by being burnt. Mr Mills was told that they were living together in the owner's house and had had several children produced from the smaller end of the female. The house was burnt: the male escaped down a rat hole but the female was injured and died. No trace was found of the children so utterly had they perished. The owner parted with the male as he could not find him another wife for him. Sema, Tsivikaputomi village. |
