Head-hunting ritual: monolith and associated horizontal stone on which captured enemies' heads are placed during head-taking ceremonies: Man, chief (Ang) standing beside monolith wears palmyra cap, large tasselled ear pendants, ivory armlets, metal bracelets, cowrie-decorated garters, long apron (lengta), broad belt, collar of many bead necklaces and the chest ornament carved to represent a human head.
