| text: | Unlike most Angami villages, Christianity has secured a footing in Kigwema but conversion has been on the basis of household rather than of Khels. Out of 36 houses in the Makuma Khel; 19 are Christians and 17 are not. In the Kavema Khel, 20 are Christians while 60 are ancients. In Kipoma Khel only two houses are Christian. There is now a smart tin-roofed church in the village with a tiny tin spire. |
