text: A short day - this time to Meroma.
text: This stands on the range of hills directly opposite the Khonoma valley and although the Khonoma itself is just out of sight one can see Jotsoma straggling down its spur.
text: The village is the smallest I have so far visited and as a result three of its Khels (Horotsuma, Chakuma and Seyatsuma) are now for all practical purposes a single unit while two others (Kesinoma and Kiditsuma) have also amalgamated. Each unit has a gaonbura and each is responsible (18) for a gate.
