text: Here as in Khonoma and Mezoma, almost all the houses are devoid of carving and I noticed only one plank with a single mithan head.
text: Unlike most other villagers there is no morung or its substitute and the young men sleep at their parents. Marriage usually take place when a girl is 18 years or over and the boy is 20 years or more. They are almost always within the village but outside the clan, but provided one of the parties is of another village, interclan unions are not forbidden.
