text: The jeep returned yesterday with Pawsey's camp bed and after blocking the holes with chairs and a bedding roll, I passed a snug night.
text: Spent the morning waiting for porters. At last they came and we got away at 2 p.m. Reaching Thenizumi, I thought we had made Cheswejumi and was dismayed to find that there were still 3 miles. Fortunately the path was nearly level and we made the bungalow as the light faded.
