text: Today I went with Resillo dobashi to his own village of Tseminyu and after that I went on to Tesophenyu. The first is Southern Rengma and the second Northern and both are in the section which Mills has termed western. At the time the 'Rengma Nagas' was written, an implacable feud existed between these two villages. The animosity however has gradually lessened and I was told that for the last five years there has been friendly co-operation between them. The Rengma council has had something to do with this and both villages send representatives to a joint committee.
