Today on to Choio, a Lotha village straddling a gravelly spur with windy views to the huge hills beyond Doyang. On the way we saw some youths hacking out two beds from a massive trunk. The tree is first felled and cut up into sections. These are then pulled down to level ground and the wood is chipped away until only a solid bed remains.
