In the village I noticed two magnificent Y posts in front of a gaonbura's house. Each was painted with the same springing plant- like form which is engraved on a pillar in Mongsenyimti.

Across the front of the house is a wooden beam painted in black with suns, mithan, an elephant, a cock and shields.
