text: Gate cannot be erected on a genna day.
text: As a protection against fire, a genna in which bamboo stakes (spiks) are plunged into the wall on each side of the gate.
text: If there is sickness, pieces of iron are offered at the gate. (Shreds of iron cut from plain's hoes when shaping them to the Naga pattern - no other iron is used.)
text: Iron 'juice' got from rubbing a dao against a stone and mixing with water - cure for infant colic.
text: If fever, 2 men go to a field in the jungle - offer 2 pieces of iron and a fowl - call to the sick man to return - then go back.
