text: S.D.O's no. 989G dt. 22/12/24: (1) Reports Chongwe-Nian war. Chongwe got Nian head using a gun - parties square (see below).
text: (2) Totok-Chua war. Started when Chua called in Totok to raid Mongnyu and then murdered nineteen of them since when Chua are said to have lost over 100 heads, as the gods have not forgiven their treachery.
text: S.D.O's 1149G dt. 2/2/25: Ref (1) above D.C. suggests war might be stopped and S.D.O. agreed. Commissioner passed orders to that effect in his no. 119P dt. 17th February 1925.
