4. Chinglong killed three Chonyu and wounded another on 27th April in Totok territory. No excuse offered. Conclusion. Chinglong and Longmien should be burnt. Others may be settled. Troops needed at Wakching. Further report dated 18/5/42. |

15/5/42 Longmien came in. No report. Only one Morung involved. Chinglong, Rs. 1000/- fine suggested. Paid 20/5/42. Nian pay Rs. 100/- to Aopao. Aopao pay Sowa 50/-. Peace sworn. Aopao pay Yongam 150/- and Govt. 100/-. Peace sworn in July. |

July: Longmien still didn't come in and frontier closed for them only. (It had previously been closed to all with effect from 5th May). In August Longmien paid 850/- (3 mithan and 10 guns remain and paid on 9/8/42.) Peace sworn but Totok would not accept 500/- . |
