Abstract from file XIII 4 Transfrontier Konyak 1944-1947. No. 173G dt. 11/5/44: S.D.O. reported that Aopao had shot and killed a Nian man. For this they were fined and paid Rs. 2,000/- of which half went for Nian, as use of guns was forbidden.
