text: Chang. Noksang. When a boy got his first head - qualified to wear a dao with red hair, a dao box with figure of man on it, boars tushes, tattoo - a thin white ear ornament, red spear. Now that the Government has stopped head-taking, a man must either kill a tiger in which case he gets full warrior's status or must 'stay like a woman'.
