text: 10. On night of Jan. 28 1948 a lot of gunfire was heard from the Aopao side - no one quite knew whether it portended another raid or was only Aopao celebrating the destruction of Choknyu and sharing some heads.
text: Dec - January a period of violence and flames - Wakching 2 morungs and Tanhai one morung accidentally burnt - the Longmein massacre - Choknyu and Hunkang raided and burnt - Yongyang (27 Jan.) fired.
