text: Thepong morung. 3 wooden heads with straw shirt hanging from ceiling - got a bit of head from Yongya - 1942 - a tally of these bits - for permanent preservation cf. Negro heads. aeroplane cf. 3

text: Palang morung. a circle of stones in the middle and menhir and 3 dolmens - here the leader of the morung stands and the dance goes round him. In head taking days it was here the head was brought if the morung alone had gone out on a raid - if the whole village had joined, the head was taken to the Ang.
text: Wakching head-hunters - Chang tattoo - when a boy enters the morung he offers fowl and is awarded the tattoo - nothing else these days.
