text: Wakching morungs - carvings on 1. pillars. 2. cross-boards. 3. the sides and ends of the huge low benches - usually 'crescent moons' 'circles' 'gongs (laya)'.
text: In Palang morung - the ends elaborately carved with hornbills. In the centre of the 'half moons' and 'circles' incised human figures in very low relief or rectangles filled with 'diamond lozenges'.
