text: A similar waning interest is reflected in the state of the log-drums and morungs. Even in Dr. Hutton's time certain villages such as Sangpurr (?) had replaced the large drum-houses with little empty morungs, but nowadays villages such as Cheshorr, Yimchungr Anrr and Huchirr possess neither.
