text: We are now back in Wokha and at last there is news of Delhi. Nchemo, the chairman of the Lhota bench and one of the delegates has returned from Kohima and this morning he has told us what happened.
text: It seems that the journey began in an atmosphere of farce. For some reason Nchemo left a day too early and when the train reached Dimapur, the station for Kohima, he was surprised to find no Nagas there. Since he had taken a through ticket he dared not get out so he travelled on to the terminus at Pandu. There he spent a day moping by the Brahmaputra and was on the point of returning, when to his astonished relief the delegation arrived.
