Bill asked Mayang if he would accept the position of Additional S.D.O. if the Governor offered it. Mayang is very loath to be in the limelight as he does not want the Nagas to think that he is pushing himself forward, but at last he agreed. He added the proviso, however, that if later when the elections take place he is not elected, Government will keep him on in the Naga Hills, so that he can continue to work for the Nagas. |
