text: Several people came from Cheswezumi to welcome Mills. Again we had to drink rice beer and soon the house was filled with people. When we departed there were about thirty people gathered around. The Gaonburas in their red cloths lent by the government, the women in dark blue cloths with big brass earrings, some Angami with carrying baskets and spears, and finally two Sema youth, almost naked, only dressed with a small cloth which hung from their belts.
