text: | When I was woken up at five thirty the first sun rays were just touching the bungalow. The valley was filled with a foaming sea of fog, some of which was driven up the mountain sides by the morning wind. Only for a few moments could one see through the fog the water on the rice terraces of Sagazumi. A veil moved over the village itself which was mingled with the smoke of the morning fires and the two and a half hundred gables of Sagazumi were enveloped in a blue haze. |
