text: (99) Chantongia 14/7/1936. We left Tamlu at quarter past seven in slightly cloudy weather. After a short hike over almost level ground we came to the village of Kanching founded about forty years ago when Tamlu became the location of an outpost and part of the village was evacuated to make room for a parade ground. An old man and particular friend of Mr Mills was one of the founders (film 18 no. 2)
