text: Thunder has the following origin. There are two brothers who live in the sky, Maintangsang and Aintangsang. The wind comes through a big hole in the sky and sometimes the brothers try to close it. Then they both run to the hole each carrying a big shield. When they collide with their shields the humans on earth hear the noise as thunder (118) but they never succeed in closing the hole.
