text: A mat is spread out immediately for the Ang, and his followers approach him only in a prostrate position. I attempt some photographs when the sun comes out. The occasion for the visit of the Zu-nyu people is that one of their young men, the son of the grotesque lower Ang, is in jail in Jorhat under suspicion of having participated in a head-hunting raid, but Blah cannot get involved in the trial. Late at night there also arrive two gaonburas from Chinglong.
