text: (171) As it did not seem as though anything was about to happen and as I also feared I might interfere with their conversation I went home at about 11 o'clock, but even at this late hour some night owls were sitting on the small platforms in front of their houses. As I discovered the next day, the feast had lasted all night and the boys and girls had not slept at all. Other parties of this sort seem to be less reserved as I was told that the young people had not gone to sleep, together that is, because the girls were still so young.
