text: Wakching 8/8/1936. Word has passed around that I am buying all sorts of objects so now my bungalow is besieged by people who offer me a lot of old and new, precious and insignificant, things. The price for all better quality objects is not low yet I do get this and that furthermore I have the opportunity to see a lot that otherwise is hidden away in the farthest corner of the house. In addition the Ang has offered to carve for me a model of an Ang seat. I gave him Rs. 3 as initial payment and shall pay two more when the work is completed.
