text: I spent a greater part of the day writing letters: father, Koppers, Clarke, Claus, Mrs Barnardo, Gottlieb, Bakeman, Mills, Mishra, Grandmama. The Doctor will take them to Borjan tomorrow. Today my cow arrived plus a very sweet little calf. She cost Rs 25 plus Rs 3 for transport.
