It turned out that the morungs are not exogamous. Fourteen people live in the house next to the morung. The owner, Wenlong, and his wife, five of his children, one daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, furthermore the widow of a clansman of Wenlong with three of her children who lives there until her own house is rebuilt. One son of Wenlong married the daughter of his mother's younger brother, a typical cross-cousin marriage. (186) Another son died and left a widow with a small daughter. The widow returned to her father's house while the daughter lives with Wenlong, her grandfather. Only babies who are still nursed go with their mother but soon will return to the house of their father's family. Another man, Nohwang, married two sisters one after the other.
