text: I also found out something about the ideas concerning the soul. It seems to be the general opinion that a human has three souls and in addition a fate which is equivalent to the Tiya of the Ao. One of the souls can leave the person, maybe held by an evil spirit in the jungle or may even be pulled into the land of the dead by a dead relative. (229) In this case the person will get sick and die sooner or later if it is not possible to return the soul.
