Manga, the Ang of Shiong, a real cousin of Mewang only came to Shiong about twelve years ago and his brother, Wangshok, only six years later. Therefore both have lived most of their lives in Chi. When Mewang married an Ang daughter of Mon she was brought by her relatives to Chi and he paid a bride price of three mithan, three buffalo, 100 daos and 300 spears. For that the bride brought with her six long necklaces of spirit money each worth Rs. 100 to 200. For the wedding people had come from eight villages dependant on Mon and twelve 'sons of Chi' had come.
