text: Finally it was better weather this morning and so I went to the fields to watch the cutting of the rice accompanied by the little Dzeam-ang and some other boys. Already on the way there we met people who were carrying baskets full of rice grain on their backs as in Wakching the rice is carried into the village on the same day (32) and is not left in the field huts as is done in other villages.
