text: Chinyang told me how he got these figures. Two years ago he had a great illness. For some time he was in the hospital but he could retain neither food nor medicine and all thought that he was lost. When he asked to be brought home he was allowed to go as it seemed immaterial where he would die. (57) But his relatives had not yet given up the case. They procured the services of two seers, one from Wanching the other from Wakching, who set up an augury with leaves in order to discover who would be the right man to perform the magic for healing Chinyang. The choice was Kun-ba, a man of the The-phong morung.
