text: The weather is no better today. Already in the early morning we are in thick clouds and the rain comes down steadily and hopelessly yet I cannot postpone the tour. Chingai, the dobashi from Oting, is meeting me in Punkhung and the village is already expecting us. For the first time we go off with tent and camp bed. Our load is heavier than we had expected and it makes up nine full coolie loads instead of eight. Tsampio, the paniwala and the coolies go first. When the rain leaves off slightly I follow with Nlamo at about ten o'clock.
