text: As soon as we come to Tanhai territory the trail gets much better. Tanhai has on the one side a greater interest in this trail than Wakching as it is the villages connection to the plains and also several Tanhai people come frequently to Wakching to buy opium. In addition however Tanhai has also cleared the path for my sake.
