text: The village is narrow and long drawn out and it is built on two hills and the saddle ridge in between. We go through its entire length and at the end go down again. Here barely below the village the people have cleared the forest on Chingai's suggestion and have built an excellent camp with a small house for me and two huts. In this weather I am glad not to have to pitch my tent on the soggy ground.
