text: So I only took a few of the beauties, among them them the Ang's daughter. She wears earring of lead which means that she is not allowed to have a lover like the others who as soon as they are grown up exchange the lead rings for earrings of brass. The Ang daughter in fact is supposed to marry an Ang son from Zakkho. The Ang of Wangla can establish alliances with Hungphoi, Nganting, Punkhung and some of the other villages under the Ang of Mon.
