text: In my camp there are always a lot of people. Even now at half past ten its still as lively. A short while ago my mail arrived unexpectedly. The doctor had given it to an opium eater from Longkhai and from there it had been sent over. Among it was a letter from Kauffmann written on the day before his departure. He will arrive then in Kohima around 1st November.
