text: In the meantime the sisters of the boys to be initiated are continuously beating the drum. Meanwhile the boys go into the forest together with the older morung boys (156) to make new beaters for the drum. They come home with these and hit the drum with them. Their fathers or brothers in the meantime fasten the lower jaws of the pigs which have been cleaned of all meat between slit bamboo and big leaves. These are hung up at the house of the 'morung Ang'.
