text: I was woken up around five o'clock by bagpipe sounds and the reveille. Still half asleep I had heard light rain dripping on my tent. I got up at quarter to six. The rain had stopped but it was cloudy. (185) Breakfast was around seven and in the meantime my tent was packed up. Then of course it took some time until all coolies had received their load. We started off twenty minutes to eight.
